The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of adventurers who will split off from the primary party to begin their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of Teor (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to sell off.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows Timmony and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could assist the group enter locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to form the Seekers and Planners tables.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
